Symposium ‘Sexual Violence: The Male Perspective’

“Center for African Justice, Peace and Human Rights is a Foundation that has the official seat in the municipality of the Hague, The Netherlands. In partnership with The Hague University of Applied Sciences, the International Institute of Social Studies and Ayola TV, we are bringing you a world class Synopsium titled ‘Sexual Violence: The Male Perspective’ .
As a contribution to the recent efforts to include men and boys in the conceptualization of sexual violence, this synopsium hopes to discuss the stereotypical ideologies for a better acknowledgment of male victim-hood in law and society. We are members of thegovernment, non-governmental organizations, embassies and the academia discuss this topic, answer questions and draw plans with the way forward, to achieve better recognition and protection of male victims of sexual violence.
Our symposium starts at 14:00 and ends at 18:00, with registration and networking beginning at 13:30. We will also have a short Peace Ambassador Awards ceremony during the event and also at the end of the event.
