Together with the NVTG working Groups, Uniting Streams and Troie, and external partner Wemos, the NVTG organizes its yearly symposium in the Rode Hoed, Amsterdam. Just as at the legendary Alma Ata symposium in 1978, guaranteeing access to health care is at the centre of attention.

Overall theme is ethical dimensions and dilemmas in Global Health. Keynotes will speak on shortages in the health workforce, ethical dilemma’s in global health research and human rights and global health. In the afternoon parallell sessions, abstracts will be presented and several working groups will participate.
